Meal Exchange

Since 1993, Meal Exchange empowered Canadian post-secondary students and campuses to address food insecurity. In 2022, the board and staff made the difficult decision that the time had come to consciously sunset the organization to create space for others to play a part in tackling this massive issue. The need to address student food insecurity and improve campus food systems remains. This digital legacy website is meant to support students and other organizations for years to come, and ultimately benefit campus food systems across the country.

Meal Exchange’s digital legacy will be stewarded, and built upon, by the Trinity Food Systems Lab at University of Toronto.
